At the 2024 Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Annual Congress, Oncology Data Advisor sat down with Erin Price, LICSW, OSW-C, Director of Young Adult and Psychosocial Support Programs at Smith Center for Healing and the Arts, and Laura Pole, RN, MSN, Health Supportive Chef and Director of Smith Center’s Nourishment Education Programs. About Erin Price and Laura Pole

Erin Price, LICSW, OSW-C, is the Director of Young Adult and Psychosocial Support Programs at Smith Center for Healing and the Arts. She was driver to help others facing cancer after being diagnosed with breast cancer at age 27. At Smith Center, she serves as an Integrative Patient Navigator and runs the DC Young Adult Cancer Community programming, providing individual and group support services.

Laura Pole, RN, MSN, is a Health Supportive Chef, Patient Navigator, and Nurse Consultant at Smith Center for Healing and the Arts, where she serves as Director of the Nourishment Education Program. She has more than 40 years of experience as an Oncology Clinical Nurse Specialist and Integrative Oncology Navigator. She is the Founder of “Eating for a Lifetime,” a consulting business which teaches health supportive eating and food preparation to individuals and professionals.
